new year's eve cocktails

Ahhhh!!! Christmas is over and just in time because a toy store threw up all over my house.

Although I was so excited in the weeks leading up to it, I’m happy to have it behind us. The hectic days, feverish baby and hoards of food did a number on my mental and physical well-being.

All more than worth it though to see the smile on the diva’s face. She absolutely loved waking up to presents under the tree, even though she wasn’t feeling well. And of course, had so much fun at Grammy and Pappy’s house where Santa left more presents for her. She made out like a bandit and now we have three HUGE bowls of candy which will most certainly be detrimental to my waist line.

C’est la vie.

Now I’m gearing up for my absolute favorite holiday – New Year’s. Christmas is nice and all (and for good reason), but I really enjoy the new year. New beginnings. A time to reflect on where you’ve been and look ahead to the year to come…and, of course, the cocktails!

Speaking of cocktails, what will be in your glass on New Year’s Eve?
