One of my favorite parts of Christmas is getting cozy on the couch while guzzling wine and scarfing down popcorn (because I’m classy like that) to watch Christmas movies. I can’t really say that I have a favorite. I mean, if you held a gun to my head and made me choose, I’d probably say Rudolph or Frosty. They are classics and remain beloved by generation after generation for a reason, and it isn’t the incredible graphics.
I’ve compiled a list of the best of the best (in alphabetic order – sorta), so I can start collecting all the greats for the diva (and because I’m a little neurotic and love making lists). We only have about five so far, but I’m guessing in a few more years, we’ll be pretty well stocked in the Christmas movie department.
What’s your favorite?

We love a lot of these but I haven’t seen them all! I think we have a Christmas to do list now!
We usually watch MOST of those every year. We even own most of them too. Definitely keepers!
We own almost all of these, and warp them every Christmastime! Our favorite this year is Nightmare Before Christmas, or I should say my children’s favorite this year. It has ALWAYS been mine! Love this list.
I love Shrek the Halls, Scrooged, and National Lampoons. But I am still in shock that “Single Santa seeking Mrs. Santa Claus” is not on the list. It is a Lifetime original and should have won the Emmy the year it was made. But otherwise GREAT LIST! 🙂 I love Christmas!
I love all Christmas movies, what a great list, did not realize there were that many to be honest even though I watch all of them every year.
My absolute fav is A Christmas Story. I look forward to seeing it every year and I’ve seen it so many times I think I know every word by heart!
I’ve seen almost all of the movies on this list. My favorite is Miracle on 34th Street.
You have my favorites on there. The Santa Clause is my favorite.
My favorite is Annabell’s Wish. It’s cartoon that not many people heard of but I love it.
We watch almost all of them every year, but only own a couple. And they are on VHS, lol. My favorites are A Christmas Story, Elf, The Year Without a Santa Claus, and Christmas Vacation. 🙂
Great list. We love ELF. I think Will Farrel is so funny. We watch every year.
Wine, popcorn and these awesome movies?! We need to hang out, my friend!
This is a pretty good list, but where is White Christmas? That is my all time favorite Christmas movie.
I always look forward to watching these during the holidays! Thanks for all the comments. It warms my heart to see so many fellow Christmas movie fans!
You left off several great ones…..White Christmas, Holiday Inn, Meet Me In St. Louis, Prancer, and One Magic Christmas
