I can’t remember the last time I had a hot cup of coffee. Oh sure, I pour myself a hot cup every morning, but as the mother of a two-year-old (one who acts like she has a java addiction of her own) and a busy blogger, by the time I take my second sip, the coffee is ice cold.
And so, I drink iced coffee. Or should I say, room temperature coffee.
I drink it for two reasons: 1) I love coffee, and 2) I need the caffeine like my daughter needs Dora. Lately, I’ve even started buying iced coffee at local coffee shops. That stuff is delicious, no doubt about it, but it’s not cheap. In my search for a more affordable at-home iced coffee option, I discovered International Delight Iced Coffee. My coffee-drinking life, as I know it, has changed forever.
The International Delight Light Iced Coffee will be available at Walmart beginning January 21st in several flavors, including mocha and vanilla. What’s great about a product like this? I hardly know where to start! First, an entire half gallon costs about the same as a single serving of iced coffee at a coffee shop. Second, it’s easy to make. Just open the container and pour it over ice (or skip the ice). It doesn’t get much easier than that! Another perk of International Delight Light Iced Coffee is that it’s a much healthier option than those “venti mocha frappe whatchamacallit” coffee house drinks. Just 100 calories per serving and only 14 grams of sugar. A low-sugar coffee drink with reduced calories? That’s not a bad way to start your day!The drink pours smoothly and goes down just as smooth. You can serve it “on the rocks,” like I did, or skip the ice. As for the taste, I prefer the mocha variety (um, hello, it’s chocolate flavored) but the vanilla option is pretty tasty, too.Overall, I was very happy with the International Delight Light Iced Coffee. No more fussing with the coffee maker in the morning, no more throwing money away at the coffee shop, and no more worrying about racking up the calories with those fancy coffee house drinks. For more information about International Delight Light Iced Coffee, including announcements about special offers and new flavors, feel free to follow them on Facebook or Twitter.

My Mom is a real fan of the iced coffees. I need to try them, too. Thanks for sharing.
I love this stuff. Ever since I discovered their iced coffees a couple months ago, I’ve been hooked!
I love iced coffee! I’ll have to try this one 🙂
I love the vanilla flavor! It is yummy and convenient!
I also love the Vanilla Flavor. Thank you for sharing..
Good to know! I love iced coffee!
I love iced caramel frappe whatchamacallits. I will have to look and see if they have a caramel or maybe add something to the vanilla. yum
OHMYFREAKIN’HECK!!!
I love this stuff, but stopped drinking it for awhile, since I’m trying to diet more. But I am SO happy to see that they have a light version now!!!
Yum! I’m so excited that there’s going to be a light version now. I love my coffee but hate drinking my calories so this will definitely be a great change from the full-calorie version.
I have tried these and love them!!! They are so good!
I got to try these for free awhile back. Absolutely loved it!
Yummmmm I would love to try this
this stuff is good
I’ve never tried cold coffee, maybe I need to pull myself into this age of ice coffee and blended coffee beverages. Sounds like you loved it!
These look so good! I’m more of a vanila s person l think I’m gonna have to buy some of this!
This is GREAT premade coffee !
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee – in any way, shape or form LOL! I usually make my own iced coffee at home … brew a fresh pot, dump it in a half gallon pitcher, add sugar to your taste, then add milk till it turns that golden iced coffee color. Throw it in the fridge and let it get cold (or set it in the freezer for about an hour if you can’t wait that long), pour into a glass full of ice cubes and whazam! (somewhat) instant iced coffee lol!
I LOVE this coffee drink but boy howdy am I buzzing from caffiene afterwards! LOL Good stuff!
I’m glad you found something that you enjoy, but please be careful with the “healthier” adjective! If you look at the ingredient list, there’s nothing really natural about this drink and it’s filled with corn syrup, sucralose and natural and artificial flavors-which are just chemically produced additives to make something taste more like what it *should* taste like. Why not brew coffee and shake it over ice? I know it’s got creamy deliciousness, but I guarantee there is a way you could make flavors with whole foods and prepare them for a week (or a month) of use.
Just because something has less calories, does NOT mean it is healthier, or healthy at all. It just has less calories. If you try to eliminate processed food from your diet, you’ll see that you no longer have to watch calorie and fat counts.
Just “food” for thought.
I can’t drink room temperature coffee at all! I usually have the kids read a book, or play quietly, while I get my day started with a cup because I definitely need one to start my day. I don’t mind iced coffee, but haven’t ever had any at home, I have to try this!
Room temperature coffee is one of the hazards of motherhood they never tell you about! Iced coffee is definitely a better option… and you can pour it one handed. Glad you enjoyed the new lighter version!!
