My favorite parts of the football season are the family get togethers and the Sunday snacks. Of course, it’s the Big Game at the end of the season (the one with the commercials that are usually better than the game itself) that features the tastiest Sunday snacks of all. For this year’s game on February 1, I plan to make my famous Easy Peasy Buffalo Chicken Dip. I’ll be serving it with a variety of goodies, including Pringles and NEW Cheez-It Crunch’d puffs.
I got everything I needed to for the dip at Walmart (I’m whipping up a batch a few weeks early because my husband couldn’t wait). I picked up the Pringles and Cheez-It Crunch’d puffs there, too. I found mine right inside the entrance.
Pringles are a classic snack during our football gatherings, but the Cheez-It Crunch’d puffs are a rookie at this year’s celebration. They’re brand new and they represent Cheez-It’s first-ever crunch puff made with 100 percent real cheese. They’re also available in two flavors: Cheddar Cheese and Hot and Spicy.
Now, about that dip. Like the name suggests, it’s super easy to make (see recipe below). The first step is to combine the five ingredients – chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, and buffalo hot sauce – in a pot over medium heat.
Next, stir until everything is well-blended and warm. While you’re waiting for things to warm up, feel free to nibble on some Pringles and Cheez-Its.
And that’s it! No, seriously, that’s it. You’re done. Put that delish dip in a bowl and serve it with some celery sticks and other goodies. The Pringles and Cheez-It Crunch’d are both good options and were the perfect play for this game time touchdown. For more game time inspiration, check out SnackableMoments.net.
