WHO NEEDS A DRINK?

You know how you wake up with a tiny foot in your face and crawl out of bed after a restless night’s sleep only to stumble into a milk-splattered world filled with annoying toys that have some super-powered batteries that never die, a barrage of singing mice whose songs make you want to stick your head in the oven , “brown bear, brown bear,” screaming and crying, temper tantrums, messes, “waaahhh!” … and then that little “angel” turns to you at some point in the fog of your day and hugs you and your heart melts? That’s motherhood … on the rocks.

I’m certainly not an expert in my short career of mommyhood and like you, just trying to do my best to raise a well-adjusted child who won’t end up in prison, without ending up incarcerated myself. The odds are looking pretty good, I think (we’ll have a more accurate gauge of those goals when she hits the teen years).

So tune in for a (sometimes) humorous look at the ups and downs of parenting. Feel free to share your trials and tribulations as well, because after all, misery loves company. In an attempt to do my part as a fellow parent, I’ll feature product and book reviews, tips to  help you preserve your most precious commodities – time and money, easy (and hopefully delicious) recipes, and I even lined up some giveaways.
