Six more days. That’s the official countdown to the Big Game on Sunday, February 1. For me, it’s also the official countdown to the “Big Game Buffet of Awesome Snacks” that my family prepares each year. I’ll be contributing many dishes, but one of my most popular contributions are hot wings and dipping sauces.

But here’s the important part. When it comes to wings, you have three options: 1) Deep fry your own using raw chicken wings (tons of work, and I DO NOT recommend it), 2) Buy some frozen prepared wings (less work, but you still have to heat them up) or, 3) Buy some pre-cooked, already heated wings like the ones you see above and below (this is, BY FAR, your best option).

My go-to source for pre-cooked, already heated wings is the Walmart deli. There, you’ll find Tyson wings in boneless General Tso’s wings, bone-in hot wings, or buffalo boneless. You can get them in a Pick 3 bucket or individually by the pound.

My family prefers the boneless wings (my hubby is crazy about the buffalo boneless, but I’m all about the General Tso’s), but you really can’t go wrong with any of the Tyson wings at Walmart!

If you’d like to taste the Tyson wings for yourself, check out any of the demos happening at Walmart on the Big Game weekend (January 29-February 1) from noon to 3 PM. Check this website for a listing of stores that will be hosting demos. I’ll be at the demo at my local store on February 1 and posting updates on Twitter and Instagram.

The wings are only one half of your game day winning play. All that time you saved by buying Tyson prepared wings can be used to whip up some simple-and-tasty wing dipping sauces. I created a spicy ranch and homemade blue cheese. Check out the recipes below, and have fun with your own Big Game menu!

  1. Those General To’s wings look so good that I’m tempted to run to Walmart right now and get some! I’ll definitely be picking up a bucket on game day! #client
