Adventures in Baking with Land O' Lakes: Hot Cocoa Fudge (#HolidayButter)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • ¾ cups cocoa
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups milk
  • ¼ cups Land O' Lakes butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup marshmallow whip
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows
  1. Line an 8 inch square pan with wax paper and coat the paper with butter
  2. Mix the sugar, cocoa and salt
  3. Add milk and continue stirring until thoroughly mixed over medium heat
  4. Continue stirring until mixture begins to boil
  5. All to boil undisturbed until the temperature reaches 234 degrees (do not stir)
  6. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla, marshmallow fluff and a dash of cinnamon (do not stir)
  7. Once the temperature reaches 110 degrees, stir vigorously with a spoon (do not use electric mixers) until the fudge becomes thick and loses its sheen
  8. Spread fudge into pan and allow to cool.
  9. Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
  10. Enjoy!
