Adventures in Baking with Land O' Lakes: Hot Cocoa Fudge (#HolidayButter)
- 3 cups sugar
- ¾ cups cocoa
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 1½ cups milk
- ¼ cups Land O' Lakes butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup marshmallow whip
- ½ cup mini marshmallows
- Line an 8 inch square pan with wax paper and coat the paper with butter
- Mix the sugar, cocoa and salt
- Add milk and continue stirring until thoroughly mixed over medium heat
- Continue stirring until mixture begins to boil
- All to boil undisturbed until the temperature reaches 234 degrees (do not stir)
- Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla, marshmallow fluff and a dash of cinnamon (do not stir)
- Once the temperature reaches 110 degrees, stir vigorously with a spoon (do not use electric mixers) until the fudge becomes thick and loses its sheen
- Spread fudge into pan and allow to cool.
- Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
