Call me crazy, but I really like vacuuming. (Go ahead, call me crazy … my husband does.)
I like the sound, I like the smell of the carpet freshening powder stuff that I use, and I like the little clean paths the vacuum makes on the carpet. I also like emptying all the dirt out of the canister thingy when I’m done. (That’s my favorite part!)
My only problem is, I’ve never been able to bring myself to buy a “nice” vacuum cleaner. I buy the cheapest vacuum I can find, they work okay for about a year, and then it’s time to buy another cheap vacuum. Do the math. After five years of that, I would have been better off buying a nicer vacuum, which would have done a better job on my carpets and lasted a good 5-10 years.
That wasteful cycle ended recently when I received a vacuum to review from the nice folks at BISSELL. The gorgeous machine that arrived on my doorstep is the BISSELL CleanView Plus Vacuum with OnePass Technology.
To put the CleanView Plus to the test, I resisted the urge to vaccum for a full week. (It wasn’t easy, but I did it.) At the end of those seven days, I vacuumed half of the floor with my old vacuum and the other half with the BISSELL CleanView Plus.
The result? The CleanView blew away my old vacuum with a noticeably cleaner performance and way more dirt collected in the dirt tank. I then vacuumed the other half of the floor – the one my old machine was supposed to clean – with the BISSELL and it picked up a ton of dirt that my old vacuum missed!

- Price – Mine was free, so of course I love that, but the BISSELL CleanView Plus is priced at just $89 on Amazon or Macys.com. A vacuum that cleans like a $300 machine for under $100? What’s not to love about that?!

Do you want to come use your vacuum at my house? lol. I hate vacuuming, but I have your same problem. I never want to spend the money. Maybe they can send me one, too? May have to look into this one. Sounds like a good price. TALU 😉
