HERO

As a 21st century mom AND a busy blogger, I’ve had my eye on several different tablets. I’ve done an unhealthy amount of research, and all signs have led me to one very reasonably-priced tablet that’s loaded with features: the T-Mobile 4G Trio AXS.

So, why do I need a table in the first place? Like I said, I’m a busy blogger and a mom, with an emphasis on the “busy.” Now that our three-year-old is turning four and heading off to pre-school, ballet classes, and soccer camps, I’ll have plenty of spare time on my hands. Translation: A tablet will come in very handy.

Updating the family calendar, reading a book, surfing Facebook, playing games, getting my TMZ fix — I’ll be doing all of that while she’s pirouetting and kicking goals. (I can also take photos and video of her doing those things thanks to the Trio’s built in camera.)

I picked up my Trio AXS at Walmart, where it was priced at a very reasonable $179. That’s it. Just $179. No contracts, no hidden charges and no monthly fees. Just pull it out of the box and start using it.

I thought buying a tablet would be like buying a cell phone, with all sorts of contracts and extra costs, but nope. None of those things!

Here’s the best part, and the main reason I chose the T-Mobile Trio AXS: Unlike other tablets, which require you to connect to a Wi-Fi connection if you want to surf the web, the Trio AXS offers 200MB of web connection and data every month FOR FREE! Let me say that again. You get free 4G data (that’s right 4G data) for the life of your tablet on the T-Mobile network. No more being forced to find free Wi-Fi at a coffee shop like other tablet owners!

Of course, if you want more than 200MB of data per month, T-Mobile offers affordable, flexible and overage-free tablet data plans for every type of user – from those who simply want to check email, the weather or Facebook, to those looking to stream music or video for their kids in the back seat of the mini-van.

The Trio AXS also has a 7.85” touchscreen (making it the perfect size to stick in my purse!) and 16GB of storage memory (which means you’ll be able to download tons of apps, music and photos).

Like I said, I LOVE my Trio AXS tablet, but our little one also seems to enjoy it. There are tons of really nice educational apps for pre-schoolers that she loves to play. (TIP: I took the protective case off for the photo below, but if you let your little one anywhere near your tablet, you should DEFINITELY use a case. Preferably a big, chunky kid-friendly one.)

And while our little tech-savvy diva is learning about shapes, colors and animals on the tablet, I can do other stuff…like write this blog entry. If you’re a busy mom, that’s yet another reason to buy a Trio AXS! #TabletTrio #CollectiveBias
